The Luke Spouses’ Club (LSC), formerly known as the Luke Officers’ Spouses’ Club (LOSC), is a private, self-sustaining, non-profit, independent organization as defined by Air Force Instruction 34-223 (AFI 34-223) and in accordance with all applicable civil and military laws and regulations. The LSC is not part of the Department of Defense or any of its components and has no governmental status. The LSC conducts activities within the guidelines of the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3), guidelines for a non-profit organization. The LSC is organized exclusively for social and welfare purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the code, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
The mission of the LSC is to develop, organize, and sponsor charitable, educational and social activities within Luke AFB and surrounding communities. The LSC collects and disseminates information of interest and value to its members, and fosters, protects, and preserves the ideals of charity, benevolence, and good fellowship in keeping with the ideals of the United States Air Force.
Our two biggest fundraisers of the year are our treasured Wreath and Tree Raffle Luncheon, which occurs around Christmas time, and the Annual Honorary Commanders’ Golf Tournament, where we work alongside Fighter Country Partnership to raise money to help support the men, women, families and mission of Luke AFB.
By serving our community and having fun with our friends, the LSC will make your time at Luke AFB one of the best times ever!
